Across three matches, Wales produced a series of incredible performances, with multiple five-set battles, comebacks and moments of real grit to secure a historic victory.

Wales opened their campaign with a 5-0 victory over England — a scoreline that didn’t reflect the intensity of the contest.
- Anna Adams got the team off to a winning start with a hard-fought 3-2 victory
- Gemma Davies marked her return from injury with an impressive five-set win
- Captain Stacey Gooding followed with another 3-2 victory
- Rebecca Baker was in control before an unfortunate injury to her opponent
- Jenny McKenna sealed the result on debut

💪 Securing a Medal Against Ireland
Saturday morning brought a crucial match against hosts Ireland, with a win guaranteeing at least a medal.
- Sarah Creed produced a composed 3-0 win to start strongly
- Gemma pushed again to five sets but narrowly lost to the previously unbeaten Siobhan
- Stacey delivered a key win against a familiar opponent
- Bec’s battled to a 3-2 victory to secure at least silver
- Jenny closed out the tie for a 4-1 win
🏆 Champions Decided Against Scotland
The final match against Scotland would decide the title — with everything on the line.
- Anna fought hard but lost 3-1
- Sarah levelled the tie with a dominant 3-0 performance
- Gemma once again went the distance, winning in five sets
- With the score at 2-1, Stacey delivered a crucial 3-1 win to clinch the title
- Jenny completed the job to confirm a 4-1 victory

Despite tired bodies after a demanding weekend, the team celebrated in style as they secured a historic achievement.
For the first time, the Women’s O35/40s Masters Home Internationals trophy was brought back to Wales — a landmark moment for the Women’s O35/40s team.
Captain Stacey said:
