Squash Wales are proud to announce the following players have been selected to represent Wales in under 15 and under 17age categories at the European Team Championships from May 9-12, in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

Aiming to improve on sixth-place finishes at the 2018 edition of the tournament – held in Malmo, Sweden – the Squash Wales mixed squads will consist of:

Dan Lewis, Josh Davies, Lewys Audsley, Alyx Kelleher and Ellie Breach (under 15); and Rhys Evans, James Smith, Josh Audsley, Lucy Jones and Georgie Lincoln (under 17).

Speaking about the teams’ chances ahead of the competition, Squash Wales Performance Director David Evans said: “Both teams have prepared well and are relishing the chance to test themselves against the best players in Europe. We are excited about their chances.”

Travelling to Europe with confidence high and looking to make an impression on the competition, the group will be supported and chaperoned by an experienced and exciting coaching team made up of Nic Birt, Andrew Evans and Ciara Richards.

Squash Wales congratulates those selected and wishes the two squads the best of luck as they take on the best Europe has to offer in Eindhoven.
