The men’s O65 team entered the weekend with no great expectation, the team containing three players who were representing Wales for the first time.
In the event they all performed well, but against strong teams from the other home countries got no reward.
Only No1 Adrian Alderton against Ireland and No2 Graham Bastion against Scotland were able to register wins. Despite the wooden spoon, the entire team had a great time at the evening gala presentation dinner at the Jurys hotel.
