We hope this email finds you well. We would like to inform you about two major events taking place in Cardiff this Wednesday that may cause increased traffic and parking difficulties in the vicinity of the National Sports Centre.
The highly anticipated Coldplay concert is scheduled for Wednesday evening at the Principality stadium and Glamorgan are playing a home T20 game at Swalec Stadium. As a result, we anticipate a significant influx of concertgoers and cricket fans into the city, leading to potential congestion on the roads and limited parking availability.
To ensure the safety of our squash players and facilitate smoother traffic flow, we kindly request your cooperation in taking the following measures:
- Plan for Extra Travel Time: Please allow for additional travel time when dropping off and picking up your child on Wednesday, considering the potential traffic delays in the area.
- Carpooling or Alternative Transportation: If possible, we encourage you to arrange carpooling with other parents or explore alternative transportation options such as public transit or walking.
- Utilise Designated Parking Areas: If you need to park near the National centre, please use designated parking areas to prevent congestion. Kindly follow any parking instructions provided by our staff or local authorities.
- Stay Informed: Keep yourself updated on traffic conditions through local news channels or traffic information apps to adjust your plans accordingly.
