Not only is a referee an integral part of any match, it’s also a personally rewarding role. Of course, you keep score, make sure everyone is on their best behaviour, but amongst that you’re helping players to develop their skills and spectators to understand what’s going on. It wouldn’t be a good game of squash without you.
No matter your ambitions as a referee, Squash Wales can support you in achieving them. Offering training, workshops and free mentorship programmes to an ever growing number of qualified referee’s throughout Wales.
If that isn’t enough to convince you, there’s up to 10 additional points up for grabs per season to clubs that use officiated referee’s for team games. Now, what are you waiting for?
