Phil Brailey entered the Insurance Industry in the 1980’s from an engineering and managerial career in the Retail Motor Industry. He was very active in the Industry, assuming several roles, including Chairman of the Audatex Advisory Board for 7 years. After a period managing a body repair facility in a large Ford Dealership, he joined Allianz in 1969 and moved into management of a team of technical Motor Experts and claims related roles, then onto a Vendor Management role. This led to his appointment as Global Vendor Manager, working for Allianz SE with responsibility for agreements with Global Suppliers to Allianz Group.
Phil has an Executive MBA from Glamorgan University, together with a number of technical qualifications.
Phil joined Solera, an American based software company in January 2012 where he was initially deployed in the USA Corporate Team on special projects and then heading up a team of Global Account Managers with responsibility for strategic global partners operating worldwide in the Insurance and related industries.
Phil retired in 2019 but remains active in several business areas across a number of commercial sectors.
