The 2025 Karakal Welsh Masters National Championships once again highlighted the depth of talent within Welsh squash, reinforcing the sport’s ongoing growth and success. Hosted at Swansea Lawn Tennis and Squash Club from 17th to 19th January, the tournament welcomed over 125 competitors across 17 categories—an exciting increase in participation from the previous year.
The atmosphere throughout the weekend was electric, with every match delivering high-intensity rallies and thrilling moments. The standard of play was exceptional, showcasing the dedication, skill, and passion of all participants. The enthusiastic crowd played a huge part in creating an unforgettable experience, cheering on players and celebrating the sport at its finest.
A heartfelt thank you goes to all the players, supporters, and attendees who contributed to the success of the event. Special recognition must also be given to Dan Anderson, who unfortunately sustained a serious injury during his final match. The entire Welsh squash community sends him best wishes for a speedy recovery.
