SQUASH WALES UPDATE 24.03.2020

As a result of the UK Government’s advice on the 20th March we would like to provide an update from Squash Wales.

Squash Wales priority continues to be the health and wellbeing of all our many stakeholders in the game and we will aim to provide support, guidance and leadership where needed during these unprecedented times to assist in keeping you all safe and ensuring we can return to normal business operations when practicable.

As of the 18th March the Squash Wales office has closed and all office staff are now working from home.

As far as reasonably possible we will continue to conduct the day to day business of the National Governing Body. That said, all our programmes, leagues, training and events have been cancelled until further notice.

In light of the recent announcement from the Government that the UK is now on full lockdown with a number of exceptions:

– To exercise once a day, practising social distancing

– Travel to and from work

– Shopping only for essential items

– Travelling for medical or care needs

Squash Wales are implementing all relevant requests and policies issued by the Government and we strongly recommend you follow the same instructions to protect yourself and others.
