Squash Wales are thrilled to learn of the decision by the LA28 Organising Committee to include Squash, alongside four other sports, as part of the 2028 Olympics. The proposal was announced last week and the decision was confirmed this morning by the IOC (International Olympic Committee).
The decision to include squash as part of the 2028 Olympic games marks a historic moment in the sports history after a knock back in 2020 following the decision not to include Squash in the Tokyo 2020 games. We are hopeful that the inclusion of squash in the games will inspire the future generation of players both inside and outside of Wales.
