Nick Edwards - Squash Wales

Nick Edwards

Hi, my name is Nick and I am the League Manager for Squash Wales

I have been playing squash on and off for 50+ years, with varying degrees of success and now play mainly for pleasure. I still really enjoy the game, as all of us do, but I can’t say I am quite as agile around court as I once was!

I am a member of Monmouth Squash Club, where I play my squash, and was the secretary for the club and for the Gwent Squash and Racket Ball Association for a number of years.

In my role as League Manager for Squash Wales it is my responsibility to ensure League Squash is delivered as effectively and fairly as possible across all of Wales ensuring alignment of rules and processes while appreciating regional differences where appropriate.

With my 25+ year experience in Pharmaceutical management , 5 years at the “chalk face” as a teacher, and 5 years in squash secretary roles I like to think I bring a logical and structured approach to the management of the leagues combined with an understanding of the game and the challenges it can bring for players, teams and clubs alike.
